Foster Civil Engineering & Paving started in 2014 as a father and two sons, John Foster alongside Thomas and James, with a box van and a few hand tools. Thomas and James Foster still run the company, and the standard of the stone work is still the thing they judge every job on.
Today we run our own fleet of 7.5t wagons, excavators and plant, with a directly employed workforce. That means we self deliver the civils and the specialist paving on the same site, instead of waiting on somebody else's programme.

Plant & people
Own plant, own gangs, own programme.
We do not sit waiting on hired plant or third party gangs. Our own 7.5t wagons, excavators and attachments run out of the yard with directly employed paviours, masons and groundworkers, which is why we can hold dates on live town centre sites where access windows are tight.
