Foster Civil Engineering & Paving Ltd is a family-run groundworks and civil engineering contractor based in Clifton, Salford, self delivering drainage, earthworks, concrete structures and externals across the North West of England with our own gangs and our own plant.
Self delivered, start to finish
Since 2014 we have built the company around one principle: keep the skills, the plant and the people in house. When you give us a groundworks package you deal with the people actually doing the work, not a chain of subcontractors. That is how we hold programmes on live sites and why housebuilders and main contractors come back to us scheme after scheme.
We cover the whole of the North West from our yard in Clifton, minutes from the M60 and M61, and we are as comfortable on a tight town centre scheme as we are on a new housing development.
What we deliver
Groundworks and civils capability
Drainage and ducting
Foul and surface water drainage, deep drainage in shored trenches, manholes, outfalls, soakaways and service ducting, installed by our own groundworks gangs.
Earthworks and levels
Site clearance, cut and fill, excavation and muck away, sub-base construction and formation levels, run from owned excavators and tipper wagons so the programme is never waiting on hired plant.
Concrete and structures
Reinforced concrete bases, plinths, slabs and hardstandings, retaining structures and chamber construction, poured and finished in house.
Externals packages
Adoptable-standard footways, kerbing, block paving and street works around new developments, taken on as one package from sub-base to finished surface.
